Involving Clients in Crafting Sound Technology Solutions

Since 2009, DevEngineering has been working with non-profit, educational, business and entrepreneurial clients to find innovative ways to escape burdensome software license fees through the use of license-free open source technology solutions.

For our work, we’ve been featured by Clutch; our company profile and reviews gives us exposure and broad recognition for our services. The profiles are created in collaboration with Clutch, a Washington, DC-based analyst firm that identifies top service providers and solutions firms that deliver results for their clients. Profiles offer potential customers a thorough summary of our services, including detailed charts showing prospective clients which specific industries we serve, a list of some of our clients, and a sense of what it’s like to work with us.

While we feel every element of our profile provides prospects with critical information, one of the most important features of our profile is the client reviews section, based on those person-to-person interviews between our clients and Clutch analysts.

What’s unique about the reviews is that Clutch actually reaches out and interviews our clients over the phone. This allows our clients to give unbiased feedback about our products and services. While this feature might make some business owners nervous, we welcome the unbiased reviews—they’re the best way for us to get a good sense of how we’re doing. We want to constantly be evaluating and improving our services, and these interviews allow us to do that.

One of our clients, the director of engineering at a media publication, attested: “There are many Drupal and open source developers available. What’s unique about DevEngineering is that they understand the platform extremely well and are adept Drupal architects.”

Another client, an IT manager with an online foodstuff retailer, said: “DevEngineering is conscious of needing to be responsive to their customers’ requirements, and they make an effort to address the time difference through their work practices.”

We’re in good company with Clutch and we look forward to becoming a leader in their 2016 Top Software Developers research. If you haven’t already, we invite you to take a look at our profile; we’re interested to learn what you think!
